Britney Spears, full name – Britney Jean Spears, was born on
December 2, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi. She is an American singer, songwriter,
actress and dancer. She is mostly known for her very successful pop singer
career that started with the release of her first two studio albums ‘...Baby
One More Time’ and ‘Oops!... I Did It Again’ that made her the best-selling
teenage artist of all-time. Her other albums also found great success – six
Britney’s albums reached number one on the Billboard 200, while five of her
singles reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. She has sold more than 150
million records worldwide and over 70 million records in the US. Britney Spears
has earned an impressive number of awards, among which seven Billboard Music
Awards, six MTV Video Music Awards, seven Guinness World Records, a Grammy
Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
