Dr. Ferrill is most consistently praised for her clinical work, with comments pointing to gentle, pain-free procedures and a visit that feels calm even for people who dread dental care. Trust in her as a dentist runs through the praise, and it is described as long-standing. Criticism, by contrast, is aimed almost entirely at the front office, where the complaints center on rudeness, condescension, and difficulty getting problems resolved. One serious allegation holds that staff did not clearly disclose whether the practice was in network with a patient's insurance, leaving that patient with an unexpected and substantial out-of-network bill. Another allegation describes a promised transfer of dental records that was never carried out despite assurances. A separate concern involves claims handling, where a request to revisit a payment was reportedly met with dismissiveness and hostility, and an allegation of insurance mismanagement appears as well. Scheduling frustration surfaces too, with appointments reportedly canceled when the office could not reach patients to confirm them. Other remarks commend the staff as professional and friendly, which suggests the front-desk experience may differ considerably from one visit to the next. The overall impression is of a clinically well-regarded practice in which administrative dealings are the main source of dissatisfaction, though the available detail on these incidents is limited.
