I tried to change an appointment to an open and available earlier time so my son and I could be on time for Rosh Hashanah services and they said I would have to pay 50 dollars to do it. I asked to speak to a superior and was put on hold. After 45 minutes of hold they were ignoring me I hung up and called back. The supervisor said she would call me - and she never did. At the very least they should change the written policy to make it more accurate - not just a 50 dollar fee for cancellations but they should say the truth. Which is that if you want to move your appointment to an open time an hour earlier in order to attend synagogue you will be charged 50 dollars. The lack of humanity is disturbing. It was also impossible for me to message or talk to the doctor or nurse and explain what happened. If we could even just start 15 minutes earlier it would be helpful. But as a patient I wasn't allowed to communicate directly with anyone in the doctors office, only the rude person at the call center. It is unethical to charge fees to move an appointment to an open time, especially in order to attend services. It is greed pure and simple. They get richer and customer services hits an all time low.
