Gwyneth Paltrow, full name – Gwyneth Kate Paltrow, was born
on September 27, 1972 in Los Angeles, California. She is an American singer, author,
and actress, who has received several accolades for her work, including a
Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and an Academy Award. She is the daughter
of television producer Bruce Paltrow and Tony Award-winning actress Blythe
Danner. Gwyneth started acting at age five, in a theater where her mother
performed. As Gwyneth grew up, she started getting small movie roles, followed
by roles in such films as “Flesh and Bone,” co-starring Nick Nolte, “Malice,”
playing alongside Alec Baldwin and Nicole Kidman, and “Se7en,” with Brad Pitt
and Morgan Freeman. Soon after, she started getting her starring roles in such movies
as “Emma,” “The Pallbearer,” “A Perfect Murder,” “Great Expectations,” and “Shakespeare
in Love,” for which she received Oscar for Best Actress. In addition to having
a remarkable acting career, Gwyneth Paltrow has been the face of Estée Lauder's
Pleasures perfume and American fashion brand Coach, as well as the author of
several cookbooks and the owner of a lifestyle company Goop.
