Low Energy, or constant tiredness and fatigue, is a common condition that does not define any particular disease, but can be a symptom of many different conditions. If you are experiencing low energy, you may feel tired all the time and be unable to complete basic tasks without feeling exhausted. A number of medical and lifestyle factors can cause low energy. Among those factors are: certain medical conditions (such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, or chronic fatigue syndrome), medications, not getting enough sleep (because of sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or other reasons), not getting enough calories in your meals, being overweight, vitamin deficiency, inactive lifestyle, depression, and stress.
